Rune Wilder was born in Cardiff, Wales, carrying with her a heritage of myth, folk tales, and strange stories of the Otherworld. Shaped by a family of music and dream research, she eventually crossed the ocean and found a new home in Monterey, California. Through music, vlogs, visual storytelling, and The Orb Log, Rune turns the distance between Wales and California into a bridge: one world of ancient memory meeting another world still inventing its own myth.

Rune Wilder is a transmedia fiction, music, and literary project created by George David. Rune’s visual identity and personality are inspired by George’s daughters and their mother, whose Welsh heritage helped shape Rune’s mythic roots and artistic creations.
Rune is also written as a subtle modern echo of Anne Brontë, the courageous Victorian author, sharing her birthday, height, certain physical attributes, and even a beloved dog companion inspired by Anne’s own — not as imitation, but as a symbolic kinship between two young women marked by depth, conscience, imagination, and inward fire.
The Orb Log draws from George’s conversations with his son about dream science and sleep paralysis. Linsiana’s voice brings life to Rune’s music, while much of the music and video content is created in a quiet California studio named The Mabinogi.
